hmaa in lax is going thru a presidency change - the website hmong rights watch is not replying to me...
i can't make it to the cities during the weekday, so i can't find anyone asap to get more info from.
i'm kinda stuck and with little available time.
personally, from reading all the letters of protest from so many different officials and the repeated inquiries for updates on the repatriation...what we can do is spread awareness of it to people and express our concerns to our community leaders. we can write to the officials who are watching over this situation...
i have a feeling that the laos and thailand government have no interest whatsoever to respect the UN's or anyone else's negative or concerned opinion on the repatriation of the Hmong people.
i'll let politics work itself - i want to focus on trying to provide food, clean water, and clothing to the people living in the camps - the people being repatriated, specifically.
all i can say is i'm working on it as best as i can.

My concerns are, if our people are going to get their fair share of ration sustenance to survive. These are from the basic neccessities such as food and clean water. These camps that our people are being sent to, will the media have access to these areas in the future and if and when we are able to collect funds to benefit the cause, will the Lao government allow such?
